THE DAY WE’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR…..

At 7:30am this morning; Phil, Parker and Ryan headed out on the beautiful blue waters of the ICW – going from Wrightsville Beach, NC to Charleston, SC for the first stop of the adventure towards Stuart, Florida- then onto the Abaco’s. The weather was perfect and they were ready to take Beautiful Blue into the ocean for the start of the journey.

TEDDY & I watched for across the way on the Pier at DockSide as they cruised passed us – It will take them about 8 1/2 hours. Hopefully the waves on the ocean will be kind to them. Ryan is the captain- Parker is 1st mate today. Wish them well.

Next stop, Tolers Cove, Mt.Pleasant, South Carolina.

Beautiful Blue is all Tucked in for the night.

• Dinner Tonight:

COULD HAVE/SHOULD HAVE: Longboards. (Sullivans Island) A restaurant we are familiar with from St. John, USVI. Excellent Food!!

Instead- they went to Home Team BBQ, Sullivans Island. I guess to compare NC vs.SC BBQ. And why not? I’m confident that we will not be getting BBQ once we get to The Abaco’s. No real verdict. They did enjoy the tray of BBQ/Greens/Brunswick stew.

Tolers Cove Marina: Mt. Pleasant – The closest marina to the ocean near Charleston Harbor. And it’s a full service marina! Hopefully they get a good night sleep- up and ready early tomorrow for the next leg of the journey.
