While most fairytales start “Once Upon a Time”

Ours starts with the question I’m sure get’s asked often;

Have you ever thought about living on a boat and cruising the blue waters from North Carolina to The Bahamas? The unanimous answer was “yes”. That would be so much fun. So, sometime back in 2022, The adventure that some say they wished they would have done it, started. The story of our fairy tale BEAUTIFUL BLUE went like this. We mention to Parker and Morgan that we are thinking about buying a boat (Yacht) and taking it South. Maybe to the Key’s in Florida or The Abaco’s in The Bahamas in the winter – North to the cruise American’s Great Loop in the summer. That’s all it took- the hours, weeks and months of internet surfing began. Then the day came when Parker had a find- Dad and Mom, there’s a boat for sale in Morehead. You need to check it out. We scheduled the first available appointment the boat broker had – and after the 3 hour drive & 30 minute on the boat the purchase was made. Phil bought a boat! The excitement of the adventure started – We decided not to tell Parker or Morgan right away and not for any reason except to keep them in suspense – Or until we were able to get let it sink in for Phil and I. We were very excited with very little apprehension. After all we met several boat owners through the course of some travels and thought, Let’s do this. Boat people seem to be nice, fun, laid back, smart, adventurous, etc..

So, with all that being said our old hobby of boating 23′- is now a new hobby of boating on a 54′ Searay.

We hope you will follow along ~come aboard, we are expecting you (hope – Cruise director for now) as we head South to Stuart Florida then to the Abaco’s for inaugural cruise and “Maiden Voyage”.
